The best record store I’ve ever been to, not just in Adelaide but anywhere! Despite the store’s small size, their vinyl collection is vast and feels almost tailored to my taste. I can’t just browse here, I always have to buy something because there’s too much good stuff here to pass up. Amazing for metal & punk, but they have so much more than that too. A sprawling collection of records from a lot of niche genres outside of metal I love such as Post-Rock, Shoegaze, Dream Pop, Experimental Rock and many others.
Lots of alternative albums, amazing owners who are always very friendly, welcoming and know their stuff. If I am to say it, this is the best record store in Australia!
Clearly one of the best record stores in Adelaide, staff was extremely knowledgeable, very well set out store and one of the biggest and best ranges of vinyl I have ever seen. They also sell CDs, books, tapes, clothing, accessories and vinyl players! Definitely recommend for any music buff!! Ideally located just down from the Rundle Mall Rundle St intersection.
This place is the real deal. Amazing service, knowledgeable staff and a well curated selection of new and secondhand vinyl and CDs across a wide range of genres as well as tshirts and books in a relaxed, uncluttered atmosphere. Highly Recommend.

Amazing service. I’d been hunting for this record for a while and when I placed the order I had that feeling of doom that I’d get a “sorry we don’t have it anymore” email.
Not the case at all, I got a speedy reply and delivery tracking sent soon after. Not only was the record well packaged I got some awesome stickers as a wee note to say thanks. It’s the little things that matter. If I’m ever in Adelaide I’ll make it my business to pop in.
Fun fact that they are in Pulteney street, so if you ever want a matching drink to go with your purchases, I recommend a nip of Old Pulteney from Wick in the country of my birth. 😊
Record store of choice. It's basically Pitchfork on Pultney. Good second hands. Great book and tee-shirt collection.
